SENIOR YOUTH CLUB

Are you aged 13 - 19? Do you want something to do on a Thursday evening? Are you free between 7.30pm and 10.00pm?

If you have answered yes to any of these questions, then why not drop into the Youth Club to find out more.

JUNIOR YOUTH CLUB

For young people aged 9 to 14 years. On a Wednesday evening from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

The club has a very active programme and new members are always welcome.

Bidford Youth Club

The Youth Club is situated on the Salford Road behind the Texaco Garage. We are a voluntary club, which has its own building with access to the riverbank with its own landing stage.

The club has been here for almost thirty years, and over the last few years we have built an extension, refurbished the kitchen and toilets, replaced the canoe equipment store, upgraded all the canoe club equipment, and installed a skatepark area to the rear of the club. Plus there is more to come!

Skatepark Area

The youth club is now able to boast a skatepark area, which has been tarmacced and fenced, and we have installed a mini half pipe, with benches and grind rails due to be installed shortly.

The skatepark area is open supervised on club evenings, and unsupervised during daylight hours during the week and at weekends (weather conditions and other club activities permitting).

Please note that you are required to wear helmets, elbow pads, etc. at all times. You also use the facility at your own risk.

Canoe Club

The canoe section of the youth club is active on the River Avon from May to September, and is run by experienced, qualified canoe instructors.

Whether you are a complete beginner or a more experienced canoeist, then this is the club for you.

Taster and beginner sessions can also be arranged for youth and community groups from ages 9 upwards.
