Parish Groups and People

Bidford-on-Avon is a busy parish, with numerous groups, societies and organisations. Read more about some of them below:

Parish Paths Partnership (P3)

A partnership between Warwickshire County Council and Bidford-on-Avon Parish Council which enables local communities to improve and promote their paths.

Bidford Community Group

Aiming to promote and co-ordinate community resources that will enhance the quality of life for parents, families and residents in the parish and surrounding areas.

Twinning Association

Bidford-on-Avon is twinned with Ebsdorfergrund - found close to Marburg in Rheinhessen, Germany. Our twinning history is now over 25 years, and visits take place on an annual basis.

Bidford and District History Society

A commemorative plaque by the Anglo Saxon car park

The aim of the History Society is to explore, through speakers and visits to places of interest locally and further afield, subjects of historical interest.

Goslings Toddler Club

Goslings Toddler Club 'Play and Stay' meet every Thursday from 10.00 to 11.30am (inc School Holidays) at the Crawford Hall, Bidford-on-Avon.

Village Liaison Officer (VLO)

The Village Liaison Officer is about providing local help to local people in rural areas across South Warwickshire.

Our Village Crier's role is to proclaim local news in a traditional manner around our parish.
