Broom Women's Institute meet on the first Thursday of the month at the Village Hall at 7.30pm.
We are a small group who enjoy various events arranged for the whole year. In the past we have had interesting and original speakers who have entertained and made our evenings enjoyable.
The WI opens up many opportunities to visit different venues within the Warwickshire Federation. In 2013, some of us have attended the science evening sessions on Genetics in Health and History and Titanic – The Midland Connection. Some members also attended a literary lunch held in Warwick and others went on a day trip to London to visit Cutty Sark and Greenwich.
We also arrange evenings out to the theatre, meals and meeting other groups within Warwickshire for skittles, darts, quizzes etc. So, as you can see we have a very mixed variety of events which could suit many different people.
Brenda our President or Helen our Secretary would be only too pleased to answer any queries you may have. We would love to hear from you.
This friendly group always concludes our meetings socially with refreshments, so we can get to know one another and expanding our friendships.
Meetings held at Broom Village Hall commencing at 7.30pm. Visitors always welcome. Delicious refreshments always served. Come and spend an evening with us.
