PARENT CARER CAFÉ
Wed 9 July 2008 from 10.00am to 12.00noon at St Andrews Parish Hall, Church Lane, Shottery, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 9HQ.
South Warwickshire Carers' Support Service is launching a Support Network for Carers of children with an illness or a disability. Parents and carers often feel isolated caring for a child with disabilities. There are few opportunities to sit and chat with parents in a similar situation or to exchange experiences and ideas.
Do come along and meet others in the same boat as you.
£1.00 per person (refreshments provided)
The plan is to meet monthly, alternating between Warwick District and Stratford District. When we meet up we can decide on the format – whether to book speakers or entertainment.

AN EVENING OF MUSIC PERFORMED BY 'WIND IN THE WEALD'
The Annual Summer Concert, organized by the Christmas Lights Committee
Saturday 12 July 2008 at 7.30pm in St Laurence Church, Bidford.
The concert is followed by a generous bowl of strawberries and cream and a glass of Pimms or wine (included in the price) in the beautiful riverside gardens of Blythe House, Grange Road, Bidford, courtesy of John and Cheryl Sussens.
Tickets are just £10 each and are available from Committee members, Libby and Pete 01789 773874, Judy and Steve 01789 778361 or The Jolly Teapot located in the Church rooms, Church Street, Bidford every Thursday morning.
We will be pleased to see you at this increasingly popular event, the aim of which is to fund raise for the Village Christmas Lights.
BIDFORD DUCK RACE
The Annual Duck Race, organized by the Christmas Lights Committee
Sunday 13 July 2008 at 3.00pm at the Big Meadow, Bidford.
Ducks will be on sale prior to the race at £1 a go. You can also contact committee members for ducks: Libby and Pete on 01789 773874, Judy and Steve on 01789 778361, or call in at The Jolly Teapot on a Thursday morning.
First prize is £125. 2nd prize is £75. Third prize is £50. Fourth prize is £50.
