St Joseph the Worker (Roman Catholic)

St Joseph the Worker Church and Presbytery

The land in Quinneys Lane, on which the church stands, was bought with funds raised by the parish in 1960 following the closure of the church in Salford Priors. The building, which had been a builders workshop, was converted into a church and given the name St Joseph the Worker. A year or two later, the house next door was purchased and became the presbytery.

Bidford-on-Avon Baptist Church

Baptist Church

Bidford-on-Avon Baptist Church has been part of village life since September 2005 and consists of more than 120 adults and children who have a real conviction that following Jesus is the most important thing that they share in common.

Bidford Baptist Church meets every Sunday morning at 10.30 am at the Crawford Memorial Hall on Salford Road in Bidford. Visitors are always very welcome. Services are informal, relaxed and varied, consisting of contemporary Christian music as we praise and worship God, prayer and intersession and Biblical teaching. We aim to be relevant to men, women and children of all ages and backgrounds – a real family church! The first Sunday of each month is an all age service suitable for the whole family. Every other Sunday our Junior Church and Youth Groups meet to offer age specific activities for all or part of the service. We have a crèche for the little ones every week.

Bidford Baptist Church isn’t just for Sunday Mornings! During the week we have various groups and activities on offer. We are a group of Christians who want to be an asset to Bidford both by getting involved in community activities and by organising events to which we can invite others.

Church Times:

  • Sunday Worship at 10.30am, Crawford Memorial Hall
  • Sunday Joint Evening Service at 6.30pm, Chipping Campden Baptist Church

See the Baptist Church's web site for lots more information about the church and activities.
